  A good selection of plants with a mediocre collection of seeds, nothing special stocked just run of the mill.
  For the gardener not really a garden centre anymore especially at Christmas with all the tat taking the place of gardening. I suppose making some profit has to come first but there is still scope for a better effort with gardening and improving the seed range.
  Review made from a vegetable and general garden point of view. If all you want is tat and a restaurant then it is probably 5 star.

  The item I wanted was not priced so I asked an assistant if he could help by zapping the bar code. He didn't have a gadget and came back to where the item was displayed saying there should be a sheet to look at. No sheet and the prices had been removed messily. I know that because I had been in 2 weeks prior to source item. I had to take item indoors to till point. Asked lady to let me know price - now £45 - I'm sure it had gone up in price. No comment at my surprise. Needless to say I did not buy it. I went to Notcutts paid £37.99 before discount____ assisted by an extremely helpful lady

  I visited the restaurant and garden centre on Weds 12/4/17 with my daughter and grandson. The restaurant staff were surly and slow, looked as if they were not enjoying their work. We managed to get our sandwiches and drinks after a long wait, but then my daughter ordered some desserts, half an hour later nothing had arrived. She eventually managed to cancel the order and have a refund from the grumpy lady on the food checkout. We won't be returning, food we had was average, tables not cleared, really unsatisfactory.
